The world is in chaos.
Does this somewhat ring true for you?
I feel overwhelmed
Does this ring true for you?
Time flies.
Do you experience this too?
If any of the above are true for you, then it is time for you to take a deep breath.
We take about 20,000 breaths a day. How many of those are within your conscious awareness?
Do you take Life for granted?
Do you take Breath for granted?
Paying attention to Breath brings back awareness of Life itself.
Feeling the sensations caused by the Breath movements in the body as is practiced in the context of mindfulness-awareness is called Anapanasati.
Have you, during an anxious experience, been asked “just” to breathe? During periods of stress, our breathing becomes shallow while our brain is in hyper-vigilant mode. The more stress we experience, the less oxygen is taken in, and carbon dioxide is not released efficiently. Shallow breathing is the onset of toxin build-up in your body, leading to immune deficiency and onset of illness.
The toxin build-up is the reason why stress is a silent killer.
Have you noticed that if you take a deep breath, you feel better?
Becoming aware of your Breath leads to
- Reduction of stress and anxiety
- Relief of pain
- Thinking through and finding resolve for problems becomes possible.
- Cognitive functioning becomes clarified with the benefits of focus and attention sharper.
- Sleep improves
- Overall, improvement of brain health is experienced.
- Emotions become balanced and more in tune with who you want to be and how you want to handle a situation effectively. Emotional stability is regained.
Living in a world where we experience a sense of chaos in our environment often leads to our inner confusion. Life becomes a blur with events and tasks that need to be managed and take longer to accomplish. Bringing Joy back into daily Life becomes more and more impossible.
Taking time to breathe is the best investment we can make for your health. It is time to regain your Joy in Life.
